Jacob Smith, DDS
Through his continual pursuit of clinical excellence, Dr. Jacob Smith has strived to provide the highest degree of care to his patients for over a decade.
His advanced training and broad clinical experience have allowed him to successfully treat even the most medically and dentally complex patients. With Dr. Smith, there is not a one treatment-fits-all approach to dentistry, and so he brings an open mind to every case, listening closely to each individual patient’s concerns and requests prior to implementing a plan.
His academic and clinical achievements are attributed to his eagerness to learn, as he electively completed three additional years of post-graduate training. After graduating from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2012, he completed his first-year General Practice Residency at Truman Medical Center-Lakewood Hospital in Kansas City, MO. He followed this training with a second-year (chief resident) General Practice Residency at West Los Angeles VA Healthcare Center in Los Angeles, CA. Finally, he completed a one-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship at Georgia Regents University in Augusta, GA.
Dr. Smith continues to give back to the profession as a Clinical Adjunct Professor at Kansas City University College of Dental Medicine, where he helps train the next generation of dentists.
Matthew McDonald, DDS
Dr. Matthew McDonald is dedicated to delivering clinical excellence, kindness, and joy to patients of diverse ages and backgrounds. He graduated in 2020 from the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. He further honed his skills as a non-categorical Intern at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio, with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department to adeptly manage the complex needs of medically challenging patients.
Subsequently, Dr. McDonald has applied his expertise in general dentistry at various clinics in Northwest Arkansas, extending his care even to inmates at Benton County Jail. Originally hailing from Washington State, he is a passionate outdoor enthusiast, engaging in activities such as scuba diving, fishing, crabbing, gardening, hiking, and mountain biking.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. McDonald finds fulfillment in spending quality time with his wife, immediate family, and active involvement in his local church. He harbors a deep interest in conversations centered around the Bible and apologetics.

Nicola Villanueva, DDS
Dr. Nicola Villanueva is passionate about helping patients regain confidence in their smiles and improve their overall quality of life through compassionate, personalized dental care. He believes that every patient deserves to feel comfortable, heard, and empowered throughout their treatment journey.
A lifelong learner dedicated to clinical excellence, Dr. Villanueva completed his undergraduate studies at St. Xavier University, earning his bachelor’s degree before pursuing his dental education at the prestigious Creighton University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. His commitment to continuing education allows him to stay current with the latest advancements in dental technology, implant dentistry, oral surgery, and full-mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Villanueva enjoys taking the time to understand each patient’s unique goals and concerns, creating treatment plans that fit their needs and help them achieve lasting oral health. Whether restoring function, rebuilding confidence, or relieving discomfort, his focus is always on delivering high-quality care in a welcoming, stress-free environment.
Outside the office, Dr. Villanueva enjoys staying active through cycling, spending time outdoors, and making memories with his loyal German Shepherd, Achilles. He values building genuine relationships with his patients and looks forward to helping members of the Exo Dental family achieve healthy, confident smiles they can be proud of.

Dr. Peyman Bastani
Dr. Bastani is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through compassionate care and modern dentistry. He believes great dental care starts with listening, taking time to understand each patient’s goals, and creating a comfortable experience built on trust.
Dr. Bastani earned a Bachelor of Science in Physiology with a minor in Chemistry from the San Francisco State University. He continued his education by getting his Masters of Art in Biomedical Science from Midwestern University in Arizona. Further his education he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, he completed an General Practice Residency at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, gaining advanced training in implant dentistry, oral surgery, bone grafting, IV sedation, and full-mouth rehabilitation.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Bastani stays at the forefront of dental technology and techniques to provide patients with comprehensive treatment options and exceptional clinical care. Whether restoring oral health, rebuilding confidence, or helping patients overcome years of dental challenges, his goal is to deliver personalized solutions that create lasting results.
Outside the office, Dr. Bastani enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. An avid tennis player and food enthusiast, he loves exploring new restaurants, discovering different cuisines, and traveling with his wife. On weekends, you’ll often find him hiking and enjoying the natural beauty of the outdoors.
